July 26, 2010 - Performance Systems Development Raises Growth Capital from Blue Hill Partners

Performance Systems Development, an Ithaca, NY and Pennsylvania-based building performance software and services provider, today announced that it has secured an investment from Blue Hill Partners, an investment firm focused exclusively in the Green Technology sector. The investment from Blue Hill will allow PSD to enhance and expand its industry-leading programs in public and private sector energy efficiency.

July 16, 2010 - Greg Thomas to Present at Building America Residential Energy Efficiency Summit

Greg Thomas, President and CEO of Performance Systems Development, will be presenting at the Residential Energy Efficiency Summit in Denver, Colorado next week. The conference, which runs from July 20 - 22, is sponsored by the Department of Energy’s Building America Program and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). The summit will explore national goals for increases in residential energy efficiency, the current state of the industry, and next steps in research, development and deployment.

July 14, 2010 - PA Home Energy Transitions to the Private Sector

PA Home Energy, a statewide residential energy efficiency program for new and existing homes implemented by Performance Systems Development, will transition to the private sector through a new funding arrangement. The West Penn Power Sustainable Energy Fund (WPPSEF) has charged AFC First, the administrators for Keystone HELP, with administering PA Home Energy. This move will allow additional funding sources to lend their support to the program, and build PA Home Energy's future sustainability.

July 12, 2010 - Greg Thomas Named Chair of Efficiency First

Greg Thomas, President and CEO of Performance Systems Development, is the new chair of Efficiency First, a national energy efficiency trade association. Efficiency First represents contractors, building product manufacturers, and related businesses and organizations in public policy discussions at the state and national levels to promote the benefits of home energy efficiency improvements to stave off rising energy costs.

April 28, 2010 - Greg Thomas Named to Building Performance Institute Hall of Fame

Greg Thomas, President and CEO of Performance Systems Development, was inducted into the Building Performance Institute Hall of Fame at the opening plenary of the Affordable Comfort, Inc. national conference. The conference, held this year in Austin, TX, was attended by over 1800 industry professionals. The honor recognizes Thomas for his “significant and lasting contributions to the building performance industry over the course of his career.” Building Performance Institute Hall of Fame inductees are nominated by their peers and selected by a panel of current Hall of Fame members.
