December 17, 2009 - Greg Thomas Elected to RESNET Board of Directors

Greg Thomas, President and CEO of Performance Systems Development, was elected to the RESNET (Residential Energy Services Network) Board of Directors in the December 2009 membership ballot. Mr. Thomas will serve a two-year term as a rating provider representative, providing leadership and perspective for quality standards in residential home energy ratings.

November 19, 2009 - Greg Thomas Advises the U.S. Senate on Energy Efficient Housing

Greg Thomas, President and CEO of Performance Systems Development, joined a panel of industry experts to advise Senate Energy Committee staff on energy efficient affordable housing. Proposed Senate legislation is calling for more than $2.5 billion in new funding for single-family and multi-family housing, aimed largely at energy efficiency measures. The move to direct funding to multi-family initiatives will help create healthier, more comfortable, and cost-effective housing for low-income families, as new energy efficiency standards are required for projects funded by the U.S.

November 17, 2009 - PSD Research Contributions Lead to New Four Billion Dollar National Green Building Initiative

Based on research contributions from Performance Systems Development (PSD) over the past five years, Enterprise Community Partners has committed four billion dollars to financing the next generation of its Green Communities initiative. The newly released Enterprise report, Incremental Cost, Measurable Savings: Enterprise Green Communities Criteria, is the first of its kind, demonstrating that green building is cost effective when building affordable housing to the Enterprise Green Communities Criteria.
