PSD releases Green Energy Compass 1.0

PSD is proud to announce the release of its latest software tool - Green Energy Compass. Available online at www.greenenergycompass.com, Green Energy Compass is the first in our new Compass tool set designed to help benchmark, track and identify energy usage in all types of buildings.

Designed specifically for energy benchmarking and tracking in single family residential buildings, Green Energy Compass currently includes a user-friendly interface and a colorful graphical report. The report incorporates real utility bill information, disaggregated into energy used for heating, cooling and base-load applications. This allows homeowners and contractors to appropriately target high energy use and focus on increasing efficiency within individual homes. Green Energy Compass allows contractors and auditors to incorporate actual annual weather data based on local regional weather stations. The tool is currently in a limited release and being utilized by contractors in the PA Home Performance program. A general release with additional features will be available later in the summer.
