Greg Thomas to Present at Building America Residential Energy Efficiency Summit

Greg Thomas, President and CEO of Performance Systems Development, will be presenting at the Residential Energy Efficiency Summit in Denver, Colorado next week. The conference, which runs from July 20 - 22, is sponsored by the Department of Energy’s Building America Program and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). The summit will explore national goals for increases in residential energy efficiency, the current state of the industry, and next steps in research, development and deployment.

Energy efficiency outreach and infrastructure development efforts can benefit by combining the trends towards stimulating action and accountability at the community level with the increased focus on achieving measured savings. Performance Systems Development has been providing program-integrated savings accountability (customer portal, benchmarking, energy audit, tracking, and measurement) services at the building, portfolio and community level. Thomas’s presentation will review the implementation and results of initiatives with NYSERDA and New York City, the Enterprise Foundation, Home Performance with ENERGY STAR in Pennsylvania and Kentucky, Clinton Climate Foundation, Building America neighborhood level projects, and with selected RRU cities and their utilities.
