Summary of Benefits


Performance Systems offers the following benefits to all full-time employees according to the noted availability schedules. Full-time is defined as working for a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Health Insurance: Performance Systems provides single person health insurance free of charge to all full-time employees. Additional coverage for other family members is available at reduced company rates. Health insurance is offered through Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Central NY.

Availability: Eligibility for health insurance coverage will is made available on the first of the month following the successful completion of your 90-day introductory period.

Flexible Spending Account (FSA): Employees have the option to have money deducted from their pre-tax income to pay for certain unreimbursed medical and dependent day care related expenditures according to current federal tax law and Internal Revenue Service limits.

Available: During the open enrollment period in December of each year.

Paid Benefit Time (PBT): Full time employees receive 80 hours of paid time off (PBT) in years 1-2 and 120 hours in years 3-5 and 160 hours thereafter.

Availability: PBT begins to accumulate starting the first day of work, but is not available for use until the end of the 90-day introductory period. Unused PBT in excess of 48 hours cannot be rolled over into the following year and will be automatically forfeited on February first of each calendar year if unused.

Paid Holidays: Performance Systems recognizes the following paid holidays. Full time employees receive 8 hours of holiday pay for each of the following:

o New Year’s Day
o Memorial Day
o Independence Day (July 4th)
o Labor Day
o Thanksgiving and the day after
o Christmas

Availability: Effective immediately upon date of hire.

401K: Enrollment into a 401K retirement account is available to all employees regardless of length of service. These accounts are 100% employee funded, meaning that employees are fully vested at all times.

Availability: Begins on the first of the month following the successful completion of the 90-day introductory period.
