Position Description
In coordination with outside marketing consultants implement a marketing plan that expands Performance Systems Development (PSD) products and services on a local, regional and national level. Monitor and stay abreast of competitive trends within the industry and as they relate to like products, and similar business entities. Serve as the on-site marketing expert integrating the rollout of all marketing plans into existing programs. Must have hands on experience executing marketing plans for a small growing company. Work with vendors supporting strategy branding and implementation of all aspects of PSD’s marketing efforts. Implement phased project components across broad functional areas in order to establish a base line for evaluating performance metrics against expected outcomes while maximizing constraints. Grow synergies and industry relationships with local state and federal agencies through the effective coordination of media events and campaigns utilizing all available sourcing outlets. Assure the successful launch of product rollouts and updates by assuming lead responsibility for promotion and introduction. Coordinate reporting tools to support the effective measurement and reporting of deliverables against projected goals. Coordinate and collaborate with divisional managers on the use and integration of modern technology for advertising, event planning, website content, social media, public relations, co-op advertising, printed promotional materials, internet and search engine optimization, etc.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Marketing Communications, or similar. Exceptional computer skills, expert knowledge of internet marketing and web application use. Minimum of 2-4 years of hands on experience supporting the development of comprehensive marketing plans and project management. Proven ability to deliver a broad range of marketing, advertising and outreach campaigns through a variety of mediums and channels. Excellent business acumen, communication, copywriting and editing skills. Creative problem solving and negotiating skills. Able to work under strict timelines with energy and enthusiasm. Prior experience within the sustainability industry desirable.
Salary is negotiable depending upon experience and qualifications.
