Position Description
As a member of the PSD Studio you will help build software to transform the way that buildings use energy. You will need to be highly experienced, professional, motivated, and a good communicator. We build using ASP.NET, SQL Server, WPF / XAML, C#, VB.NET, plus HTML / CSS / javascript (jQuery). We assure quality and delivery using test-driven development, version control, and continuous integration all within a scrum / XP agile development process. As a senior developer, you would be expected to lead with expertise in modern software architecture (design patterns, domain driven design, service oriented architecture, etc.), user experience design (you should know how to make it look good and work well), project management (scrum master experience is highly desirable), and collaborative team management. You will be part of a development team that values our craft and the impact it has on people and the environment. You need to have the temerity to handle a fast-paced development environment with aplomb and integrity. And you will need to be detail-oriented and methodical while still having a view of the big picture.
Significant experience leading software development teams as a developer or manager. 8+ years of software development experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills. A BS or MS in a computer science or hard science field. Significant experience with database driven applications.
