TREAT Registration

Why is Registration Important?

The TREAT registration process has been designed to reduce unauthorized use of the software AND allows the TREAT team to provide customized tools to specific programmatic users. For example, users enrolled in Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® programs may print custom reports specifically designed for that program.

If you wish to continue using TREAT past the 30 day trial period, you purchase a TREAT software license and register it with our sales team.

How Do I Register TREAT?

After downloading and installing, TREAT is ready to use in demonstration mode. In demonstration mode you will be able to create, calculate, save TREAT projects and view reports, for a period of 30 days from installation. Printing of reports, reports for special programs**, multi-family capability**, and removal of the 30-day expiration date, is accomplished by registering your licensed version of TREAT.

Register Online

  1. After purchasing a TREAT License, you recieve a product Serial Number
  2. Open the TREAT Program and click on the Register menu item at the top of the TREAT screen.
  3. On the registration screen, Copy and Paste the Serial Number into the serial number field, then press the Enter key.
  4. If you have typed the Serial Number correctly, TREAT will generate an Installation Key that will appear in the corresponding box.
  5. Go to the TREAT Activation page
    • You must be logged in to activate your software. If you do not already have an account, you will be prompted to create one through the Performance Systems Development main website.
  6. Copy and Paste your TREAT Serial Number and Installation Key into the appropriate form fields
  7. Click Submit

At this point a TREAT support representative will receive your information and generate a TREAT password for you, which will be sent to the user's email address.*

  • Copy and paste the Password into the password box on the registration screen, then press the Enter key. Click the “Register” button. All features are now enabled and you will not need to use the Registration screen again unless you re-install TREAT or purchase additional features.

Alternatively you may register via email:

  • Click the Email button on the Registration screen in order to complete the registration process by sending this information for verification to PSD Consulting.
  • You can use the automatic email function as noted above, or send an email to treatregister@treatsoftware.com with the following information in the body of the email:
    • Serial Number
    • Installation Key
    • TREAT User Name
    • TREAT User E-mail
    • Which version of Windows you are using

You will receive a Registration Password by email that will switch TREAT out of demonstration mode and activate the features that you have purchased.

**Certain TREAT features, including multifamily capabilities, are only available if those options are purchased or if the user is a member of a specific program.
