The Building Envelope Professional curriculum is designed to provide a deeper understanding of the building envelope and its interaction with other building systems.

Our curriculum supports the training goals of the BEP certification, which includes hands-on measurement, and verification of building performance is included, as well as standards and project specifications - with the goal of optimizing the building envelope for energy efficiency.

BPI's Building Analyst 1 certification is a prerequisite for this course. Performance Systems Academy’s BPI-approved curriculum is designed to maximize student learning through comprehensive classroom sessions with industry-experienced trainers, hands-on field sessions, and protocols offering expert step-by-step guidance to prepare students to work in the industry.

Our training materials have been coordinated with the Building Performance Institute (BPI) standards and the modules have been modified appropriately as BPI standards have evolved. Our curriculum supplies you with the tools needed to successfully implement Building Envelope Professional training by providing a quality educational experience that meets rigorous standards and is built on years of experience in the home performance industry.
