Western Pennsylvania Subsidy
The Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry through its Industry Partnership program provides a 75% subsidy of training costs for workers (and owners) that are employed by energy efficiency/home performance companies in western Pennsylvania. The funds are available through the 3 Rivers Clean Energy Partnership on a reimbursement basis, that is, the company pays for the training up front and is then reimbursed 75% of the cost once the training is completed. Courses such as BPI Analyst and HERS Rater (and higher level courses) qualify for reimbursement. Please contact Jan Lauer at 412-874-7193 for more information.
